Are you just barely “making it through the day”?

Life should feel better than that. But when you’re feeling depressed or anxious, or you’re having relationship problems or conflict in your marriage, or you’re trying to cope with grief or trauma, or if you simply feel stuck, it’s hard to feel much pleasure or hope. You’re trying your best, but it doesn’t work. You know you “should” feel better — that’s what everyone tells you, anyway — but you can’t do it. Things can feel pretty bleak.

I can help.

I bring a wealth of experience over two decades helping men, women and couples overcome problems similar to the ones you are going through.

I’m Larry Letich. I believe everyone has a blueprint inside of what’s right for them and their life. I will help you find your blueprint, and help you to believe in what’s right for you and what you need to do to feel good about yourself and your life.

And since most people can’t just turn around one day and completely change their lives, I’ll also help you find the balance between what you need and want and feel for yourself, and the needs and expectations of those who rely on you.

Recently I went into a gift store and found a refrigerator magnet. Isn’t all the wisdom in the world recorded on refrigerator magnets? It said, “At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want.” Supposedly Lao Tsu said this. Of course I bought the magnet. This is what I believe, which is why I’m a therapist.

Let me help you connect to that center of your being. Let me help you grieve what you may need to grieve, and discover, or re-discover, a sense of your own rightness, the knowledge of who you are in this world, what you feel, what you know, what you want, and where you belong.

I work with people suffering from anxiety and depression, and people struggling with difficulties in their relationships, as well as people who simply feel they’re just not getting enough out of life.  I work with couples who fight too much, or who’ve drifted apart, or who’ve been torn apart by an overload of stress or by infidelity, to help them return to the closeness and connection they used to have. In those cases where that’s not possible, I help two people come to a place where they can move on with their lives in the healthiest and most constructive manner possible.

I’ve also worked with many men. Some were suffering from depression, anxiety, and a wide variety of addiction or substance abuse problems, while others sought therapy because they were looking for a way to cope with the stresses and compromises of life and still live authentically and with integrity. But if your biggest problem is that your marriage or relationship is in trouble, check out my page, Save Your Marriage — For Men

Finally, I specialize in working with adults with ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and with writers and other creative people to help them harness their skills and reach their dreams.

I’m a Certified Trainer in the mind-body self-help technique known as Focusing, and the co-author, with psychologist Dr. Helene Brenner,  of I Know I’m in There Somewhere: A Woman’s Guide to Finding Her Inner Voice and Living a Life of Authenticity (Gotham Books, 2003). For the better part of 20 years I’ve been helping people know themselves better and listen to their hearts to have happier and more fulfilling lives.
